  My partner and I went to this clinic for various treatments back in 2009. My partner had an implant done and the tooth restored by A. Mackevicius. The work was indeed very professional, would give it a 5 star. However, the same cannot be said about B. Mackeviciene's work. My partner had a filling done by her. Unfortunately, the tooth was not cleaned properly and an infection started growing causing pain and swelling of the gum. B. Mackeviciene had most of my fillings replaced (about 16) in less than 2 weeks to reinstate the bite of the jaws after the orthodontic treatment. She used so much of local anaesthetics that each time it was taking at least 6 hours for numbness to disappear even though I had asked to use less. After the treatments one corner of my lips became numb from time to time and gathered saliva, which never happened before. My partner and I came back to this clinic about one month after our treatments to complain about complications. Mackeviciene's response was that my partner should massage the swollen gum and I should wait and the numbness/ saliva problem would disappear. Unfortunately, after another month my partner developed fever of 40C during his business trip to Rome. As it turned out, the infection from the tooth almost reached his eye...he was injected antibiotics, his tooth was pulled out and the infection cleaned - all at a significant cost as it was an emergency procedure. I wrote a written complaint to the clinic, a response was never received. My problem did not disappear after 7 years since the treatment. I doubt we can speak about impeccable reputation here! I was very disappointed, especially that we both came back after the first month of treatment but Mackeviciene was not willing to admit or rectify her mistakes, which cost my partner the tooth, lots of suffering and significant costs. As for myself, I do feel uncomfortable feeling saliva in one corner of my lip from time to time. Had we lived in Lithuania, we would certainly file a claim against this particular dentist!
