::I would have given the hostel five stars, as I had no other problems with it, but it is totally infested with bed bugs. I stayed in the Sventoji room and counted at least 5 in the carpeted wall.

::Hostel is okay, and the low price is appropriate. There is a weird process for checking in that requires ringingly the owner and receiving a security code to get in as the reception is not always attended. This is fine if you have a phone that works in an alien country! Why it could not be emailed to us in our confirmation message is anyone's guess. The hostel lacks a common lounge area and the kitchen has barely enough room for two people and inadequate cooking facilities - a microwave and a single burner stove. On the positives, there is great water supply and roomy shower, comfortable beds and the hostel is only a few minutes walk from both the stations and the Old Town.

::At only 20€ for a double room this place is good value. If you are looking for a party hostel, however, this isn't it.

::I really satisfied staying in this hostel. I felt myself there like in my own house. Service staff polite and kind. Only best memories about that time. I can recommend you to stay there.

::I cannot say enough nice things about Alex, who owns and runs the hostel. From her cheery smile to her helpfulness and let me not forget, magic pancakes served every morning, Alex makes you more than welcome in Vilnius. With local knowledge that she is eager to share with you, and always up for a good old chat over a cup of tea or coffee, if Alex does not know it, she will find it out for you. The hostel is small and comfortable. It is cleaned daily, from top to bottom. My room was spacious and pleasant. The beds are bigger than average and you'll definitely get a good nights sleep. As for location, you're no more than a leisurely 8 minute walk to the Town Hall, where tour buses will take you around the city, showing you the sites and sounds. Further to that, the train station is a few minutes walk up the road, and there is a local super market, no more than 4 minutes walk from the front door. If you don't feel like wondering far and wide and have just arrived in Vilnius, after checking in, you can take a short walk down the same road that you find the hostel in to a bar called Snekutis, that has excellent food and beer. Truly, you can't go wrong with this hostel. Location, Price and Service are all top-notch. Enjoy your stay!
